This cake was practice for an upcoming commissioned cake. I wanted to try the WASC recipe...White Almond Sour Cream. I needed to make a sturdier cake for stacking. Brent LOVED this cake recipe - and it's definitely sturdier. For the filling I made my own version of a whipped chocolate ganache. YUM. I wanted a large purple flower on top, but it wasn't working...so alas, I went with an orange one I had previously made. I need to work on large flowers!!
